We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of packages and documents, ensuring that all items are handled with care. Duties

Drive a van or other delivery vehicle to transport goods to specified locations. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Ensure accurate and timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards. Perform basic warehouse duties, including loading and unloading items as necessary. Handle heavy lifting of packages, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle. Keep accurate records of deliveries made, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transport.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. A valid driving licence with a clean driving record is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job. Familiarity with commercial driving practices is advantageous. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
