Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to various locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have experience in driving vans or commercial vehicles. As a Courier Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering packages efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van or commercial vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of packages during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures when required. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of deliveries.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting, as some packages may be bulky or weighty. Previous experience in commercial driving is an advantage. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and time management. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
