We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver with own van to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to various locations. As a Courier Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service.

Responsibilities

Operate a van or similar vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to traffic regulations. Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload goods, which may involve heavy lifting. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any necessary documentation. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Follow company policies and procedures for safety and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with experience as a van driver or in commercial driving. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading. Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
