Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and warehouse staff.

Duties

Safely drive a van or similar vehicle to transport packages and documents to designated locations. Perform thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload items, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and documenting any issues encountered during transit. Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules, routes, and any changes that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road. Provide excellent customer service by being professional and courteous during interactions with clients.

Qualifications

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and warehouse staff. Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial but not mandatory. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Pay: 100.00-160.00 per day
