Job Summary

Self employed Driver

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier Driver to join our team, as part of a 2 man delivery crew.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of goods mainly kitchens etc ensuring that all deliveries are made safely and efficiently.

This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Van/Fuelcard will be supplied

Wages paid 1 week in lieu

Immediate start available.

Responsibilities

Safely drive a van to deliver packages and goods to designated locations. Perform heavy lifting and carry out loading and unloading tasks as required. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures when necessary. Load vehicle Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road.

Requirements

Valid driving licence Experience as a commercial driver is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and carry out physical tasks associated with delivery work. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and time management is essential.
