Our delivery company is looking for someone to take on the important role of a same day courier. The perfect candidate will be familiar with delivering goods around the UK and enjoy working independently. This is a physically demanding, high energy job that involves delivering goods to clients. Our couriers need to be in good physical condition and enjoy working with a highly professional team in an emerging field. Experience with an equivalent courier service is a must.
You will be provided with a company vehicle (all running costs will be paid by the employer)
This job is based on self-employment.
Responsibilities:
Drive a vehicle and load packages.
Safely operate a motor vehicle with company logos and signage.
Be courteous towards customers and other employees.
Ensure the safe handling of packages and goods, using appropriate packaging and crates.
Must have experience with strapping and securing loads.
Have experience driving a Luton van
Must be flexible with start/finish times
