We are seeking a reliable and motivated Van/Courier Driver to join our dynamic team. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate efficiently across various routes.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and documents to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload items, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring all goods are secured for transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and documenting any issues encountered during transit. Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly. Assist in warehouse duties as required, including sorting packages and managing inventory.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential, with a proven track record of reliability and punctuality. A valid driving licence is required; experience driving larger vehicles or lorries is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
