Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Courier/ admin Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods across our group of business sites.This role requires excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Courier/admin Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our deliveries are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery of packages while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload items, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring that all items are secured for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery/admin driver is preferred. A valid driving licence manual vehicle with appropriate classifications for commercial driving is required. Experience with heavy lifting and handling of various types of cargo is essential. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is advantageous. Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
