Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, to deliver parcels and goods to various locations. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, providing excellent customer service. Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with proper handling procedures. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, conducting routine checks before and after shifts. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered. Complete all necessary paperwork or electronic documentation related to deliveries. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during driving duties.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations. Valid driver's licence, preferably with a clean driving record; appropriate category for commercial vehicles (e.g., Category B). Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, often involving parcels or equipment. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Organised with the ability to manage time effectively under tight schedules. Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns is preferred. Must be physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks and long periods of driving.

Pay: 488.40-700.00 per week
