Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in delivery driving and possess excellent communication skills. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers while maintaining a high standard of service.
Responsibilities
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of products during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including heavy lifting and organising inventory. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Requirements
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record, own vehicle and smartphone required. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 40 per week
