Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of goods and documents to various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Courier Driver will operate a van and ensure that all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

Duties

Drive a van to deliver packages and documents to designated locations. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist in loading and unloading packages, which may involve heavy lifting. Maintain accurate records of deliveries made and any incidents that occur during transit. Ensure compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies while driving. Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally at all times.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is advantageous. Experience working in a warehouse environment is beneficial. A valid driving licence is required, with a clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently is essential.

The job has a daily rate of 150, looking for an immediate start.

Im looking to recruit 3 drivers over the festive period (approx 3 months) for courier support over the busiest time of the year.

There will also be the opportunity for additional work post Xmas.
