Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering packages and documents efficiently and safely. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Courier Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload parcels, ensuring that items are secured and handled with care. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist in warehouse duties as required, including sorting and organising packages.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred not essential full training given. Valid full driving licence Familiarity with local roads helpful Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay frequently can be discussed on a personal to personal basis. flexi pay is also available for part time self employment services.
