Our client is now seeking a committed and compassionate
Court of Protection Paralegal
to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their legal career in a meaningful and client-focused area of law.
The Role:
You will assist solicitors and fee earners with a varied caseload of Court of Protection matters, including:
Supporting vulnerable clients who lack mental capacity
Assisting with applications for Deputyship Orders (both property and affairs and health and welfare)
Preparing and submitting documentation to the Court of Protection and the Office of the Public Guardian
Managing client files, correspondence, and case management systems
Liaising with clients, family members, medical professionals, local authorities, and other stakeholders
Assisting with the preparation of annual reports and financial management under Deputyship
Key Requirements:
A law degree (or equivalent) or prior experience as a paralegal in Court of Protection or private client matters
A genuine interest in working with vulnerable individuals and in mental capacity law
Strong organisational and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage a busy workload
A client-focused, empathetic, and professional approach
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to 40,000.00 per year
