Couture Cutter
Job Description
Suzanne Neville, one of Europe's leading designers of bridal and evening wear, is recruiting for a full-time sample cutter to join the busy and friendly team at their Harrow-on-the-Hill studio.
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Work closely with the Designers and Pattern Cutters
- Measure and lay out fabric accurately
- Cut out both sample and bespoke garments
- Work with a variation of fabrics for both bridal and evening wear
- Work out costings
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 1 years' experience in a similar role
- Be able to follow instructions accurately to brief
- Have a thorough understanding of couture garment construction
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Have a willing, can-do attitude
