Couture Seamtress/Seamster

Duties would include but not limited to:

Sewing / creating dresses to the highest standard using the finest techniques Handling the finest materials like silk chiffon, lace, tulle, and beading Sewing with industrial machines and sewing with hand Take part in fittings and make alterations Work closely with the pattern cutters

Requirements:

Able to drape fabric into shape Ability to creatively problem-solve pattern and/or construction constraints to achieve design intention Have a keen eye for cut and silhouette and the ability to interpret the designer's intentions Attention to detail and accuracy High knowledge of high-end garment finishes.
