As a member of the EDT, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing immediate support and intervention to families in crisis during out-of-hours periods.
• Conducting assessments and developing safety plans to ensure the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
• Collaborating with local agencies, law enforcement, and healthcare professionals to coordinate effective responses.
• Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Experience working in a social work setting, particularly with children and families.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to service users.
