We are seeking a talented, committed and experienced Chef to join our stables team.
5 or 6 days a week which includes Saturday and Sundays to cover sickness
Hours typically 7am-3.30pm
We have 2 coffee shops (one Staunton and one Sudbury)so someone who is happy to travel to either or where needed

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for food preparation and presentation. This role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards, and inspiring team members to achieve excellence in every dish served.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to maintain a cohesive team environment.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality control.
Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper handling of ingredients.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Develop new menu items and contribute to ongoing menu innovation.
Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and minimise waste through efficient stock management.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Supervising experience with a track record of leading successful culinary teams.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively.
Demonstrated expertise in food production, presentation, and flavour pairing.
Familiarity with restaurant operations, customer service, and serving procedures.
Previous hospitality experience is highly desirable.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for culinary arts and continuous professional development.

Pay: From 18.00 per hour
