We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and experienced

Cover Cleaner

to join our cleaning team. This role involves covering cleaning duties across various locations and environments, including domestic homes, commercial premises, office buildings, and other client sites. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and able to quickly learn and follow site-specific cleaning procedures. You will step in during staff absences, holidays, or when additional cleaning support is required.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out cleaning duties across a range of sites, including: Domestic properties (kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, etc.) Commercial areas (retail spaces, hospitality venues, public areas) Offices (desks, meeting rooms, restrooms, reception areas) Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping Disinfecting surfaces and touchpoints Cleaning toilets, kitchens, and staff areas Emptying bins and removing waste Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and specifications Ensure the use of correct colour-coded equipment and chemicals Maintain a high standard of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety Follow COSHH and Health & Safety guidelines at all times Report any damages, maintenance issues, or security concerns to the supervisor Travel to different locations as required, sometimes at short notice

Key Skills and Attributes

Previous cleaning experience in domestic and/or commercial settings Ability to adapt to different work environments and routines quickly Strong time management and reliability Attention to detail and commitment to quality Knowledge of cleaning equipment and appropriate chemical use Understanding of infection control, COSHH, and Health & Safety procedures Friendly and professional attitude Flexibility in hours and availability to work on short notice Full UK driving licence (desirable, depending on travel requirements)

Working Hours

Flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends Hours vary depending on cover requirements

Salary

Competitive hourly rate based on experience Travel expenses may be reimbursed depending on location and policy
Pay: 12.21 per hour
