We're on the lookout for an energetic and confident
Cover Dance Instructor
to join our growing MF Dance family! This flexible, part-time freelance role is perfect for a passionate teacher who can step in when needed to deliver fun, high energy street dance classes at our Wellington and Tiverton schools.
Whether you're leading one of our Miniz, Juniorz or Teen classes, or popping into schools for after-school clubs, we want someone who can bring the vibe, the discipline, and the fun!
What You'll Be Doing:
Deliver street dance classes to children aged 3-18 with energy, structure, and creativity.
Step in when needed at our Exeter and Tiverton venues (cover role).
Choreograph routines for showcases and competitions.
Inspire students with positive feedback, encouragement, and life skill coaching.
Run engaging after-school clubs and holiday dance sessions (if interested).
Help promote our dance movement with support from our in-house marketing team.
What We're Looking For:
Experience leading children's dance classes (min. 1 year).
Confidence teaching independently, with a flair for street/hip hop styles.
Strong communication and class management skills.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to get one - we can help).
Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel between venues).
Bonus points for dance qualifications or first aid training.
Perks & Pay:
20-40 per hour (based on experience).
Bonus schemes and commission available for student sign-ups and performance events.
Full training will be given for this role.
Ongoing training, mentoring, and potential to grow into more regular hours.
