Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cover Driver to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as adherence to all road safety regulations and company policies.

Duties

Covering all business needs such as, working nights, warehouse, holidays, and sickness on a cover basis, this includes driving anything from 3.5 tonne vehicles to a class 1. Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Essential Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role. Forklift licence. Class 1 Licence. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Multi Drop.

Standard hours are - Monday to Friday 8am to 18:00pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 51,000.00 per year
