Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and an ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

This vacancy is 8 hours a week , working on a Thursday /Friday 06.00am to 10.00am . Plus you would be a school cover , to cover annual leaves and sicknesses AM/PM .

Deep cleaning is required for this vacancy in school half terms , this will be discussed further in interview .

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, classrooms, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces. Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure effective sanitation. Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain consistency in service. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks. Ensure that all cleaning supplies are well-organised. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all duties. Collaborate with team members to achieve optimal cleanliness standards across the facility.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving items as necessary. A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment.
