Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Sports Coach to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality PE and sports sessions across a variety of schools and community settings, ensuring all children are engaged, active, and supported in their development.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a wide range of sports and physical activity sessions to children. Provide cover for regular coaches as required across schools and sports programmes. Plan and deliver fun, safe, and inclusive activities tailored to different age groups and abilities. Inspire and motivate children to participate, improve, and enjoy sport. Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are upheld at all times.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience coaching or teaching sports. A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (travel between venues required). Recognised coaching qualifications (e.g. Sports related degree, Level 2 NGB, multi-sports, or equivalent). Strong behaviour management skills. Clear and confident communication with pupils, staff, and parents. Current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
