We're working with a highly regarded secondary school in Basildon that's looking for reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to join them on an ongoing basis from June 2025. This is a great opportunity if youre someone who enjoys working with young people, thrives in a classroom setting, and values variety in your work week.
You'll step into different classrooms across a range of subjects, keeping students on task with pre-prepared lesson materials when their usual teacher is absent. It's a key role that keeps the school running smoothly-and the best part? You get to decide when youre available.
What you'll be doing as a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervising lessons across various subjects using pre-set lesson plans
• Offering general support to students as they work
• Adapting quickly to different classrooms and year groups
• Reporting back to the teaching team on how lessons went
• Ensuring students stay focused and on task
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
