Secondary School Cover Supervisor - Burgess Hill

Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex


Hours: Full Time / Part Time / Adhoc (term time)


Start Date: ASAP


Salary: 105-120+ per day PAYE (depending on experience and hours)


We're looking for reliable Secondary Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Burgess Hill. If you can manage classes confidently and follow provided lesson plans, this is a great role offering flexibility and competitive pay.


Key Responsibilities:


o Supervise classes during teacher absence and deliver pre-set work.


o Maintain high standards of behaviour and safety.


o Provide clear records and feedback for subject teachers.


o Support school routines and follow safeguarding procedures.





Skills & Experience / What We're Looking For:


o Strong classroom management and the ability to work across secondary subjects.


o Excellent communication and organisational skills.


o Experience in school settings or as a teaching assistant is advantageous.


o Flexibility to work full-time, part-time or ad-hoc days.





Additional Information:


o Pay rates vary by experience and role length; 105-120+ per day.
