Ark Outside London Support Pay Scale 6, pay points 8 - 19: 25,992 to 31,067 (pro rata)

Actual starting salary:

22,357.48 (this does not include any cost of living increase awarded by the Government for 2025/26)

Hours:

36 hours per week, Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)

Contract:

Permanent

Are you passionate about education and looking to make a real impact in the classroom? We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our hard-working team.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support students across both of our campuses, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. This includes maintaining a positive and focused learning environment and managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.



Our standards are high, and we need someone who can be a team player and flexible when supporting other colleagues, with the ability to remain resilient, calm and professional under pressure.

We're looking for an individual who:

+ Has experience in a UK based classroom role including classroom organisation and management, supporting the planning and delivery of the curriculum, implementing behaviour and learning strategies
+ Has the Ability to undertake a range of teaching activities with confidence, working effectively with individual pupils, groups of pupils and whole classes
+ Has a robust awareness of keeping children safe, noticing safeguarding and welfare concerns, and you understand how and when to take appropriate action
