Cover Supervisor - At Blaby Stokes Primary School
Term Time Only (39 weeks)
Monday-Friday - 8:30am-3:30pm (32.5 hours per week)
Blaby Stokes Church of England Primary School is a primary school, set in spacious grounds in Blaby village. We are in the process of transitioning to a one form entry school and are starting an exciting premises refurbishment which will include a brand new Foundation area.
To ensure that every child in our care receives the best support, we are looking to recruit an exceptional Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team.
Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth running of our classrooms during teacher absences. Your responsibility will be to supervise students, uphold a positive learning environment, and ensure continuity in their education.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising whole classes during planned or unplanned teacher absence including PPA cover.

Delivering learning to a group of Early Years Children every morning

Managing student behaviour and promoting positive conduct
Delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities to ensure continued learning
Supporting staff by providing feedback on student engagement and behaviour
What We're Looking For:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualified as an Early Years Practitioner level 2 or above

Confidence in managing groups of children in a calm, professional manner
Reliability and commitment to upholding our school's values and standards
Experience working with children or in an educational environment is desirable
Flexibility to cover a variety of year groups and subjects
