In the heart of Luton, Bedfordshire a 'Good' Secondary School are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join their team. The Headteacher is looking for a Cover Supervisor to join them ASAP on a permanent basis (Employed directly by the school)

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Cover Supervisor, who is keen to add value and support the educational needs of the school by covering prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher. You will manage the classroom, supervising students effectively and undertake any lesson tasks set by the teacher.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Cover Supervisor Inspiring and motivating the younger generation Ensure continuous learning and positive progress for students in the absence of their regular teacher Deliver pre-planned lessons Maintain excellent behaviour management of students Build a robust rapport with both staff and students Provide continuous support to students of all abilities ASAP Start Full Time & Permanent (Employed directly by the school) 19,750 Per Annum Located in Luton, Bedfordshire

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Good educational background, A Levels and GCSEs Ability to both challenge and support students Tutoring or previous teaching experience Able to adapt to different situations and use initiative
