Key Responsibilities

Supervise whole-class lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the absence of the classroom teacher. Ensure students remain on task with the work provided, managing behaviour and encouraging engagement. Follow the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies consistently and professionally. Provide feedback to teaching staff on student participation and progress. Support students where necessary, answering basic questions and promoting a positive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

Experience working with young people (in education, youth work, coaching, or similar) is highly desirable. Confident presence in the classroom with the ability to manage behaviour and maintain focus. Strong communication, initiative, and problem-solving skills. Degree or relevant qualification (preferred but not essential). Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
