We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a degree-qualified individual with a minimum of 6 months classroom experience to gain further experience in an educational setting. The successful candidate will oversee classes during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes across various subjects in the absence of the regular teacher
Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain engaged in their learning
Maintain a positive and controlled classroom environment
Support students with their learning and provide additional assistance when required
Uphold the school's policies and procedures, including behaviour management
Provide feedback to teachers regarding student progress and behaviour
Adapt to different classrooms and year groups as required
Requirements:
Degree-qualified (essential)
A minimum of 6 months classroom experience (essential)
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a school environment
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
A willingness to undergo relevant training and background checks, including an enhanced DBS check
