Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools (Newham & Tower Hamlets, Adhoc / Short-Term)

TLSA is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to provide support across a range of secondary schools in Newham and Tower Hamlets. This is an adhoc, short-term role offering daily cover for classes where teaching staff are unavailable.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise classes using pre-planned lessons provided by the teaching staff Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment Follow school policies and procedures while ensuring the safety and engagement of students Be flexible and adaptable to work across multiple schools on short notice

Requirements:

Previous experience leading a class with a pre-prepared lesson Confident managing challenging behaviour Reliable and punctual, with the ability to start taking bookings from 7:00am Available for 8:30am class starts and adaptable to different school schedules
This role is ideal for individuals who are organised, professional, and enjoy supporting young people in a school environment. You will be providing essential cover to help schools maintain continuity of learning on days when teachers are unavailable.
