About the Role - Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher (Rainham)

Working in a range of Rainham secondary schools, you will:

Deliver prepared lessons across various subjects at KS3 and KS4. Maintain a calm, productive learning environment. Support students to stay focused, engaged, and on task. Follow each school's behaviour and safeguarding policies. Provide an excellent standard of classroom supervision in the absence of the regular teacher.

What We're Looking For

We welcome applications from a wide range of backgrounds, including:

Graduates exploring PGCE or Teacher Training routes TAs, HLTAs, and SEN/SEMH support staff Sports coaches, youth workers, creative arts practitioners Overseas-trained teachers or TEFL/TESOL instructors Anyone confident working with young people in a classroom environment

Requirements:

Experience with young people or in a school setting (preferred) Strong communication and behaviour management skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Eligibility to work in the UK with recent references Teaching qualifications welcome but not essential*
