About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the class teacher Supervise and support students to ensure an engaging and positive classroom environment Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a safe and respectful learning space Work closely with teaching staff and senior leaders to support learning outcomes
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people and are considering a future career in teaching or education.

Key Requirements

Experience working with young people or within a school setting (preferred) Strong classroom management and communication skills A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Right to work in the UK and the ability to provide recent, relevant references Teaching qualifications are not essential - we welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds
