About the Role:

We are seeking a confident, adaptable, and reliable

Cover Supervisor

to join our vibrant secondary school team. The successful candidate will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a positive and focused learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver set lessons and supervise classes across a range of subjects and year groups (ages 11-16) Ensure a safe and purposeful classroom environment Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Report back to the appropriate teacher on the lesson and any issues arising Support students in their learning where appropriate Carry out other duties as required during non-cover periods, such as admin or supporting small groups

Requirements:

Minimum of GCSEs (A-C) in English and Maths (or equivalent); A-Levels or a degree desirable
Experience working with secondary-age students (e.g., in schools, youth work, tutoring, sports coaching) Strong communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and positive under pressure A genuine passion for education and supporting young people

Pay: 22,880.00-34,455.81 per year
