Secondary Cover Supervisors needed in and around the Torfaen area

Due to a high demand, Supply desk are currently looking for Secondary Cover Supervisors in Torfaen and surrounding areas

Supply Desk are seeking multiple Cover Supervisors in Torfaen to support with additional demand across the curriculum. As a cover supervisor you will manage classrooms in a variety of schools, and keep children on task during a teacher\xe2\x80\x99s absence. This is a fantastic first step for those considering a career in teaching or those currently under taking their PGCE. A role where you can really get into the reality of teaching and gain invaluable experience, with schools throughout South Wales calling on our support.

The Successful candidate will need:

• A full driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and access to your own vehicle
• A positive and engaging attitude to education
• A good standard of literacy and numeracy skills
• 6 weeks experience of working with children (desirable but not essential)
• An enhanced child workforce DBS check with registration via the update service (this can be completed with us at Supply Desk, if not already in receipt)
• EWC registration/willing to apply for EWC registration
• An enthusiastic attitude toward teaching and making a difference to young minds
• Strong behavior management techniques and understanding
