About the Role

R&A Education is recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors and Supply Teachers to work in a range of primary, secondary and SEND schools across Gravesend & Ebbsfleet, Kent. What You'll Do

As a Cover Supervisor or Supply Teacher, you will:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and key stages Maintain a calm, positive classroom environment and support pupil engagement Support pupils' learning, wellbeing, and academic progress Follow school routines and behaviour management systems Help ensure continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers Communicate effectively with school staff and uphold professional standards
This role allows you to choose when and where you work, with excellent flexibility for part-time or full-time opportunities.

Who We're Looking For

You should have one or more of the following:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or recognised UK teaching qualification Experience as a Cover Supervisor, HLTA, Teaching Assistant, or classroom practitioner
You will also need:

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Excellent communication and adaptability A passion for supporting young people A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) The right to work in the UK
