R&A Education is recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors and Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary, secondary and SEND schools in Rochester, Kent. What You'll Do

As a Cover Supervisor or Supply Teacher, you will:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across different subjects and key stages Maintain a calm, productive classroom environment Support pupils' learning, progress and wellbeing Follow school policies and behaviour management procedures Ensure continuity of learning in the teacher's absence Communicate effectively with school staff and uphold professional standards
This flexible role allows you to choose the days and settings that suit your schedule, offering both part-time and full-time supply opportunities.

Who We're Looking For

Applicants should have one or more of the following:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or other UK-recognised teaching qualification Experience as a Cover Supervisor, HLTA, Teaching Assistant or classroom practitioner
You will also need:

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Reliability, good communication and adaptability A genuine commitment to supporting young people A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) The right to work in the UK
