The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Cover Teacher to support learning across all year groups during periods of absence. This role requires flexibility, strong classroom management, and the ability to step in and deliver high-quality teaching with minimal notice.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise classes independently when the regular teacher is absent. Ensure students remain focused and learning objectives are met. Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and year groups. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff. Maintain a safe and positive learning atmosphere. Support the school's mission of fostering confidence and independent learning. Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning. Follow school policies and procedures consistently.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Experience in teaching and classroom management. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to cover different subjects and year groups. Commitment to student well-being and educational excellence.

Preferred

Experience in a school setting with a focus on student development. Previous cover teaching experience. Familiarity with a range of teaching methodologies. Experience with curriculum planning and delivery.
