We are currently recruiting Cover Support Workers to join our Day Opportunities teams. This is a flexible role, ideal for those who want meaningful work that fits around their life. A Cover Support Worker ensures continuity of care for adults with learning disabilities during staff absences. They step in to maintain high-quality support, allowing individuals to continue planned activities and routines without disruption.

About the Role



As a Support Worker, you'll enable individuals to shape their own lives through learning new skills, training, volunteering, and participating in activities that support their health and wellbeing.

You'll work across several sites, supporting people with a wide range of needs, no two days will be the same. You will empower individuals to express their rights, choices, and aspirations while maintaining the highest standards of care in line with our policies and procedures.

This role requires both independent working and teamwork to follow detailed support plans and contribute to their ongoing development. You may also be required to provide personal care as part of the role.

Key Details:



Day shifts only - no evenings or weekends Covering a variety of sites in Cwm y Glo, Deiniolen, and Llanberis Supporting people to engage in meaningful activities and community involvement

What We're Looking For



No previous experience is necessary - just the right attitude. We'll provide all the training you need.

We're looking for individuals who can demonstrate:

A commitment to providing positive, person-centred support and creativity in designing and delivering activities tailored to individuals' needs and preferences A caring, patient, flexible, and positive approach Flexibility, motivation, and enthusiasm Empathy, respect, and understanding in supporting people with varying needs Strong communication skills: verbal, non-verbal, and written Ability to communicate effectively in English and Welsh (or willingness to learn Welsh) Ability to develop and maintain positive professional relationships with individuals, families, colleagues, and other professionals A full valid UK driving licence and access to a car The Right to Work in the UK
Specialist training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role.
