The Role - Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of teaching and learning during staff absence. You will:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of secondary subjects. Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, focused learning environment. Engage and motivate students to complete their set work. Uphold the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies at all times.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their experience in education -- whether you're exploring teacher training, classroom support, or pastoral pathways such as Behaviour Mentor or Learning Support Assistant.

About You

We're looking for confident, adaptable, and motivated individuals who enjoy working with young people and want to make a positive impact in the classroom.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people or in a school setting (preferred). Strong communication and classroom management skills. Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Right to work in the UK and recent, checkable references. Teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent) are desirable but not essential -- we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
