COVID-19 Vaccination Booking Specialist (Temporary, Saturdays - October 2025 Winter Campaign)

Vicary Pharmacy, a family-owned pharmacy located in the heart of the idyllic village of Haddenham, is seeking a friendly and organised COVID-19 Vaccination Booking Specialist to join our team on

Saturdays only

during the Winter 2025 vaccination campaign. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient-centred healthcare to the communities of Haddenham, Thame, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Appointment Scheduling:

Manage patients for COVID-19 vaccinations using our digital platform (training provided).

Customer Assistance:

Offer clear, friendly, and professional support regarding vaccination details, availability, and locations.

Data Management:

Accurately input and maintain records of patient bookings and related information.

Coordination:

Work closely with the vaccinator and pharmacy team to ensure smooth scheduling.

Issue Resolution:

Handle scheduling conflicts, cancellations, and reschedules efficiently.
Skills & Requirements

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Friendly, welcoming demeanour with a patient-first approach. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment. Previous experience in customer service or scheduling is an advantage.

Important Note

This is a

temporary, Saturday-only role

linked to the Winter 2025 COVID-19 vaccination campaign. Demand for the service is difficult to predict and may vary. While we aim to offer Saturday vaccination clinics throughout October and the winter months, we may need to reduce or adjust the number of sessions depending on uptake and NHS guidance.
