We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while ensuring food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area and back of house. Follow food safety guidelines and hygiene practices to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness. Assist in meal preparation for other kitchen stations as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication during service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques, particularly grilling methods. Strong knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation. Capability to work as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required. Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
