The CPT Product Owner is responsible for acting as subject matter expert for Ocean Infinity's CPT systems and related geotechnical products. Reporting to the Geotechnical Product Lead, this role combines technical expertise with product ownership responsibilities to oversee the development roadmap, technical backlog, and performance of our current and future CPT systems.
What will you do:Act as the primary point of contact for CPT systems across operations, service delivery, and OEM partners (APVDB). Provide subject matter expertise, technical support, and performance feedback on CPT systems and related products. Lead the product vision, roadmap, and backlog management for CPT products. Build strong relationships with OEMs, making periodic visits to vessels and suppliers to review performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify improvements. Stay up to date with CPT technology developments and share best practices to drive continuous improvement across the team.

Who you are:HNC or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. At least 5 years' experience in CPT development or related geotechnical equipment. Deep knowledge of CPT systems (APVDB ST range an advantage). Strong track record working with multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams. Experience in technical support and/or new product development. Skilled in quality management standards, regulations, and policies. Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills. Collaborative leadership style: proactive, empowering, and hands-on. Proficient with MS Office, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools. Fluency in English; UK/EU work rights.

Desirable:Experience with geotechnical data acquisition and interpretation. Familiarity with subsea robotics or autonomous marine systems. Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) tools. Background in ISO 9001 quality environments.

Salary: Up to 80,000 per annum
Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
