: CQC Governance Coordinator / Support - Ultrasound Clinic



Location:

Holborn & Banstead (must be able to commute to both)

Hours:

Flexible -- either

1 full day per week

or

4 hours across 2 days


Reports to:

CQC Registered Manager

Setting:

Private Ultrasound Clinic (multi-site)

Overview of the Role



We are seeking a proactive and organised

CQC Governance Coordinator / Support Officer

to assist our CQC Registered Manager in ensuring our ultrasound clinics operate safely, efficiently, and fully in line with CQC standards.

This role plays a key part in supporting high-quality patient care by maintaining compliance, coordinating essential governance tasks, and ensuring the smooth running of both clinic sites.

Main Responsibilities



Governance & Compliance Support



Assist the CQC Registered Manager with day-to-day governance tasks across both clinic sites. Help maintain compliance with

CQC regulations

, including record-keeping, policies, audits, and action plans. Support with preparation for CQC inspections or internal reviews. Ensure policies and procedures are up to date, well organised, and accessible. Assist in monitoring training records, DBS checks, and staff compliance documentation.

Clinic Operations & Administration



Support smooth running of both sites by completing routine operational checks and reporting any issues. Assist with coordinating health & safety tasks, including risk assessments and incident reporting. Help maintain accurate logs, registers, clinical documentation and governance databases. Liaise with staff across both sites to gather information, follow up on actions, and ensure timely completion of governance-related tasks.

Quality & Patient Safety



Support audits such as infection control, safeguarding, documentation, incident logs, and patient feedback. Help implement improvements identified by the Registered Manager or clinical team. Assist with patient experience processes, including surveys or feedback monitoring.

Skills & Experience



Essential



Background or experience working in a

healthcare environment

(e.g., clinic, private practice, imaging, NHS, or similar). Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work with staff at all levels. Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently. Happy and able to

work across both Holborn and Banstead

clinic sites.

Desirable (but not essential)



Experience in

CQC compliance, governance, quality, or clinical administration

. Has worked in an ultrasound clinic Understanding of CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) and basic regulatory requirements.
Note: Full training and support will be provided by our CQC Registered Manager.
