Chartwell Trust Care is a group of small residential care homes and supported living services based across Leicestershire, and Greater London. We support people with learning disabilities and autism, and we also run a specialist acquired brain injury unit.
We're looking for an
experienced full time
Registered Manager
to oversee our Supported Living provision, which currently consists of 7 sites across Leicestershire, supporting our service users with autism and/or a learning disability in their own homes. We have sites in LE7, LE2, LE5 and LE12. The base will be at our head office in LE5. This is a challenging, but extremely rewarding role with a real opportunity to make a difference to our service users lives, and to the organisation as a whole.
The role will require but not limited to:
Efficiently manage the day to day running of the business
A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
Allocate resources
Monitor performance to deliver high quality homecare to service users within budget
Manage all aspects of the staff including the line management of three Deputy Managers. Display good team leading skills and staff are clear about their respective duties and responsibilities
Ensuring residents are receiving personalised support
Liaising with other professionals such as Social Workers and the Local Authority.
Ensuring the service runs within budget and any maintenance needs are reported and acted upon, to keep the homes a safe environment.
Ensuring all paperwork is completed promptly and all records are kept updated and compliant with relevant legislation.
Undertake audits of the service and responding to action plans, working closely with the Regional Manager to ensure full compliance.
The ideal candidate should:
Have a NVQ level 5/ Level 4 in Care and Management or willing to work towards one
Have managerial experience preferably as a Supported Living Manager
You will be responsible for ensuring all tasks are completed in line with all regulations including CQC, HSE and Environmental Health. Including making sure the home is fully staffed
Significant experience in working with people with Autism, learning disabilities and complex behaviours.
A working knowledge of positive behaviour support STOMP.
