Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Seafood , with the ability to perform various tasks that require mechanical knowledge and the use of hand and power tools. This role involves heavy lifting and maintenance duties, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Duties
Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist in the care of animals, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their health. Apply basic math skills for measuring and weighing. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote efficiency and safety in line with a safe hygienic environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in Shellfish processing or a related field is preferred. Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Capability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. Experience in animal care is advantageous but not essential. A proactive attitude towards maintenance tasks and problem-solving is essential.
