Craft Gardener

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Craft Gardener to join our team and tend to our projects with expertise and enthusiasm

Reporting to:

Gardens Manager

Responsibilities



As one of our craft gardeners, you will be responsible for maintaining, nurturing and developing gardens where a proactive, passionate and conscientious attitude and excellent communication and horticultural skills are vital. You will work

- Propagation

- Weeding

- Irrigation

- Pruning

- Hedge cutting

- Topiary pruning

- Mowing

- Seasonal lawn management

- Planting

- Staking

- Managing herbaceous borders

- Composting

- Pest and disease management

- Assist with planning and implementing kitchen garden sowing plans

- Assist with planning and implementation of bedding schemes

Requirements & Skills



RHS Level 2 with 3 years experience in a similar role Full UK driving licence Proficient with Microsoft apps Excellent communication skills Good organisational abilities Effective self-management to meet deadlines A practical, systematic approach to organising work Capable of capturing customer requirements

Desired



PA1/ PA6 Chemical application certificates

Valid emergency first aid at work certificate

Experience



Proven experience as a gardener in a residential setting

Attitude & Work Ethic



Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive Hardworking and committed to continuous learning Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset Ability to work in all weather

General information



Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:30
