Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crane Supervisor Slinger Signaler to join my clients construction and civils team working on a NIGHT SHIFT BASIS. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy materials and equipment on-site in Derby. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction experience and strong communication skills to contribute to a large-scale project.

The role requires a CPCS blue card with crane lifting supervisor and slinger / signaller and the hourly rate will be 29.91

Responsibilities

Safely manoeuvre and position heavy loads using appropriate slinging techniques and equipment Assist with the setup and dismantling of lifting gear, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with crane operators, site managers, and other team members to coordinate lifts Conduct routine inspections of slinging gear and lifting equipment to ensure safety standards are maintained Drive company vehicles as required to transport materials or equipment between site locations Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately Maintain organisation of materials on-site to facilitate smooth workflow

Hours of Work

7.30pm to 4am, weekends available (NIGHT SHIFT)

Must Have

CPCS blue card with crane lifting supervisor and slinger / signaller Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and site personnel Valid certificate of fitness for work/role Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy loads when necessary Good organisational skills with attention to detail in handling equipment and materials Willingness to work as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism
