We are looking for a wellbeing activities coordinator to join our dedicated Wellbeing Service at Teesside Hospice. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide comfort, improve self-esteem, general wellbeing and connection to those accessing our specialist palliative care service.
About the Role
As a Wellbeing Activities coordinator, you will plan, develop and deliver a wide range of person-centred group and one to one activities designed to promote wellbeing, social interaction, and emotional support.
Activities may include:
Creative arts and crafts
Reminiscence and life story work
Music and movement sessions
Themed events and seasonal celebrations
You will work closely with the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team - including nurses, therapists & volunteers - to ensure that every activity is meaningful, inclusive and responsive to the individual needs of those in our care.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Compassionate and creative
Experienced in planning and facilitating group activities or therapeutic sessions
Skilled in engaging with people
An excellent communicator and team player
Confident working both independently and collaboratively
Committed to delivering high quality, person-centred care
Previous experience in a health, social care, community arts or wellbeing role is desirable, but above all we value your passion and ability to connect with others.
