Job Description

Do you come from a background in theatre, music, dance, or performance? Do you want to use your creative skills to make a real difference every day? We're looking for passionate, proactive, and engaging professionals to join a truly outstanding special school supporting learners aged 4-19 in Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 settings.
What we need from you:

  • A background in one or more creative or performing arts (acting, music, dance, drama, or similar)
  • Confidence working with students with special educational needs including severe learning difficulties (SLD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Excellent communication skills, patience, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
  • A proactive, creative approach -- able to design, deliver or support arts-based or creative learning, sensory experiences or performance opportunities
  • Full availability Monday to Friday, 8:30-16:00

Key Info:
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30-16:00
  • Start date: as soon as possible (or after half term, depending on recruitment timeline)
  • Location: Kingston Upon Thames area (Surbiton) special / SEN school setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
