We're seeking a creative and hands-on team player to support internal communications, design tasks, and employee engagement initiatives across our business. This fixed-term role (two days per week) is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest in design, social media, and internal communications.
You'll work closely with the Creative Communications Lead to create branded content, help deliver internal events, and support our communications channels - including our intranet, screens, posters, internal emails and more.
Responsibilities
Design & Content Support
Format PowerPoint presentations using branded templates
Create posters and print-ready materials for campaigns and updates (e.g. PowerPoint, Photoshop, CorelDraw)
Edit and resize images for use in newsletters, screens, and digital channels
Support photo and video content capture and basic editing
Prepare and schedule content for internal TV screens (using Signage Live)
Create simple on-screen animations (e.g. using PowerPoint)
Collect photos and write captions for social media content
Internal Communications
Draft or upload news updates to the intranet page
Support preparation of internal announcements and employee emails
Help ensure written content is clear and accessible for a diverse workforce
Collect employee feedback through surveys and forms
Events & Engagement
Assist with internal events and awareness campaigns
Help prepare materials, decorate rooms, and organise snacks or giveaways
Experience
Basic experience using Microsoft Office - especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Familiarity with social media platforms - particularly Facebook and LinkedIn
Comfortable working with images, layouts, and branded templates
Strong attention to detail and an eye for good design
Confident communicator who enjoys working with others
Organised, reliable, and able to manage time across different tasks
Education (one of the following preferred):
GCSEs (including English and IT or Design-related subjects)
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Art & Design, Media, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or a related subject
College course or short course in Creative Media, Communications, or similar
